First batch of Ornaments for the year - Roger T - 10-21-2014 Been kinda slow in here lately so thought I would put up some of my Hollow Body Ornaments. Woods are Ambrosia Maple, Walnut, all with Holly Finials. Thanks for looking. RogerT Re: First batch of Ornaments for the year - Steve K - 10-21-2014 very nice Roger. I like your finials! Re: First batch of Ornaments for the year - Arlin Eastman - 10-21-2014 They really look great. How did you hollow them and did you make the hangers. Arlin Re: First batch of Ornaments for the year - Roger T - 10-21-2014 Arlin, I do all my ornaments with a set of Mini Keltons. I shoot for 1/8" thick on the walls. And I order my hangers off the internet. I weighed a couple of this batch, they are right at 1 1/2oz each. Re: First batch of Ornaments for the year - sylvius - 10-21-2014 Gorgeous work! Holly is such an amazingly beautiful wood. It's hard to believe it's natural. Re: First batch of Ornaments for the year - David Delo - 10-22-2014 Nice work Roger. What inch stands are you using? Re: First batch of Ornaments for the year - Roger T - 10-22-2014 Thanks for all the kind comments, much appreciated. David, my ornaments tend to be pretty long, so as a minimum I get 10" hang height or longer stands. I was real happy with the selection and service from these people. http://www.finehomedisplays.com/ornamentstands.asp Roger Re: First batch of Ornaments for the year - beck1986 - 10-22-2014 They look great.
