Brian,
I finally got to install and use these blades late this summer. So far--I like them! I have run a decent amount of board feet through them and they are still doing fantastically. No nicks or planner lines so the strength is holding up. . The cut surface on a recent project barely needed finish sanding to finish. I don't work in the shop as much as I'd like but I will post results again when I finally feel the need to swap ends.
Thanks again for the offer. You are the reason I buy from Holbren.
Cheers,
HD

It would have been fun to use a set on the silt soaked Ipe I salvaged but as it was it dulled out 2 sides of the Byrd carbide cutters on my Shelix.

Sorry to be so late in my response. 10 day old grandson died, I had open heart surgery, then fell and broke collar bone.
Installed Brian's blades and am truly impressed. Planning oak and pine with very smooth results and blades seem to stay sharper longer. Thanks Brian

Brian, I've run about 240 bd ft of white oak and another 120 bd ft of various other woods, including 30 of teak. So far, so good. No issues and I have another 300-400 bd ft coming up in the next 2 months. Probably cherry or mahogany. I'm not sure what you are expecting for edge life on these, but I haven't maxed them out yet.

Brian,
I've now run about 800 bdft and these are still leaving as fine a surface as day 1. Impressed.
Now, any chance you have these for a 6" Jet jointer?
