some more of my dad's tools
#11
This is just a laid back review of some of the hand tools I inherited from my dad.
When you have nine minutes to watch just grab your favorite beverage and sit back and enjoy.
Let me know what you think some of these were used for.
Thanks for watching!

I still can't get embed code to work on this forum.
How is that done here?

I just learned this. For youtube, copy the URL (not the embed code) and paste straight into your post. This won't sound right, but it works.

Just before the tool box portion, you have a what appears to me to be a chain saw file holder.

The screwdriver has what's called a perfection handle. It allows you to put more torque into the screw, because your hand grips it better than a round handle.

The pry bar thing with a hammer head is a crating tool. It allows putting nails in or prying the top of a crate. Many crating tools also had a built-in hatchet.

I've already tried that URL.
I right click on the video, copy the URL, and this is what I get.

https://youtu.be/wnG6qynKNUk

or

https://youtu.be/wnG6qynKNUk

and I have "embedding" allowed.

I never would have guess that. I've never sharpened a chain saw. The file is round. Does one sharpen a chain saw with a round file?

"Oh, I see." said the blind man as he picked up his hammer and saw.
Thanks!

For some reason you got the following after the domain -

"watch?feature=player_embedded&v=wnG6qynKNUk"

When I right click, whiled signed in to YT or not, I just get this
https: // youtu.be/wnG6qynKNUk

Removing that period between u and b doesn't help me either.

How do you get that link?
I suppose I could make a note of it and manually paste the "watch?feature=player_embedded&v=" into the code.

1. I clicked your link and opened Youtube with it. Youtube reformatted the link in the browser.
2. I just copied the reformatted link from the browser address bar.

Easy peasy
