I have been changing all my trim and doors in the house to red oak. Some doors are flat panel and some are solid 6 panel. But finishing all with minwax wipe on poly. The easiest top coat on the planet to use. No getting wrong and no brush marks. I put on 3 to 4 coats with a non abrasive pad between coats to knock off any nibs. Love the look and feel. Has been working just fine for me.
