I got an email announcing it so yeah, I believe it is a new product. The use of a chisel for size is interesting.

Are you supposed to have that much undercut at the shoulder of the tenon? Mine just kiss through. It seems like it would weaken the joint.

They make tools, not furniture. No need to cut that much past. Measuring correctly will get a pretty perfect corner.
