Hardwood Lumber Dealers - Michael C - 02-26-2020

I live south of Jacksonville and am looking for a good source of hardwood lumber. Anybody know where I can find a retail establishment that has a good selection of 4/4 and 6/4 S1s2e?

Which Jacksonville?

Assuming you are referring to Jacksonville, FL, If there is nothing available in your area, you can drive up to the south side of Savannah,
Case Woodworking Supply
1725 Grove Point Road
Savannah, GA 31419.
Phone: 912-927-9000

They have both turning pieces and a large building with long hardwood boards.

Savannah is a long haul from Jacksonville and even longer from southside but Case Woodworking is an amazing little hole in the wall with a ton of lumber and machinery in stock. It is the place to get lumber around here even though a local lumber yard Guerry Lumber has a decent selection of domestic hardwoods and a few exotics. Mainly mahogany.

Check the local full service lumber yards around there. Full service means they do custom moldings and sharpen saw blades and whatnot. They will usually at least have some red oak and maple.
