you can gather any conclusion you want from a poll. Especially when the poll is written and analyzed by someone that is clearly in one camp.

well I tried to be objective....
I think you nailed the camp issue however.
People hate Sawstop or they love it
The same with that silly BT saw Ryobi made and Festool.
or even the Euro saws. If I had the cash and was looking it would be a euro saw hands down.
They really are worth the money, and set up correctly just as safe as SS sans the gee gaw.... but they get so little exposure on WW forums ( once again $$$$$) that they are largely ignored
Poll showed that too......

To see if the SawStop is the saw of choice you need to poll people who bought a new cabinet saw and who chose the SS over the Delta, PM, etc.

I have purchased in the last three years a: Users may choose only one (227 total votes)
Newly designed Delta Unisaw or Powermatic 13 05%
Sawstop 35 15%
None, just want to see the results 179 78%

I think this still points one of the huge problems that SS has yet to overcome.
It reflects one of two things: no one is buying new saws; or no one is buying new SS saws.
Either way it still points to the lack of serious inroads to the saw market as it stands now.
It doubt it would be much of a stretch to say that the market is in the educational market out of sheer liability issues.

your just protective of SS
I am not hard headed, I am a realist.
Numbers don't lie. and for similar results to appear in two polls , well

I don't see where you asked a similar question in your poll. Of the people who responded to the question 20% bought one of the three saws mentioned with SS being a 3:1 ratio. How is that showing a problem for SS?
Go ahead and have the last word on it so you can be feel like you won.
