Sweet. That looks a lot like mine. Rust and all. I have the 34-450. You will like that saw.

....... A rebuilt arbor can be had with all the work already done from SawCenter......
yup. they do great work. hopefully the arbor and pulley on the saw you just bought are useable. otherwise, a new arbor, bearings, spacers, load spring, washers and nuts with a new pulley comes in around $250 shipped from sawcenter. DAMHIKT.
i'd humbly offer one small suggestion. inpsect all the moving parts adn key components completely and know what the restore/rebuild/repair costs for each will be BEFORE starting on any one thing. before i knew it, my free (ok, $40 in gas money) unisaw had soaked up $400 in "gotta fix it" expenses between the motor and the arbor. hope you don't have a simiilar experience.

That's pretty sweet.
If you want to swap out the three phase for a single phase motor to get it going right away, you don't need a true uni motor. On OWWM, there is a link that describes how to build a mounting bracket that will allow you to put a standard frame motor on there. I use that method on mine (it came that way, I just fine tuned it).

Way to go. You can't lose, since you could post it for sale here, including what you have into it with transportation, and it would be gone by the end of the day.
But fix it to use it, and it's the last saw you're likely to own, unless a blade-brake type saw is in the cards.
If you decide to replace the motor, be advised that in addition to the special mount system, the shaft is a non-standard 3/4" diameter.

Another one, some of the LT models (both Unisaw's and clones) use a motor mounting plate to hang a conventional motor on them. Might save you some work though there is the chance of needing some mods.
Just a thought.
