Today we started off by digging in more drain tiles.
Need to address downspouts.
They will outlet out in the yard with popup openings.

Of course, it had to go right through our sidewalk area

Cutting stone to tighten up fit in the wall.

Weightlifting Danchris style...............

Got her on her toes. Heavy one.
These big slabs are used on the top both for look and stability

The wall is pretty much done.
the only place left is where my ramp is.
We will dig that out and set the stone when we are done driving in here...............probably Monday.

Another 24 tons of stone for the base.
If all goes well, this will be installed on Monday.

stay tuned..................

Nothing new until Monday.

We worked on another patio project today.
This is a permeable paver patio with a handicap ramp for my dad.

Will post the details of that when it is done.............

That's the one I've been looking forward to - that's what we want to do in the backyard.

really nice work, I am glad to see I did many of the same things on my yard. I was making it up as I went. I am curious are you going to incorporate any of the stones in this picture into part of the project? Possibly a fire pit, water feature or the larger stones in part of the landscaping?

We plan on using some of them.
The larger ones will be moved up front and the smaller ones will get used in various spots.

thanks................
