I know some of you love your Sketchup, spreadsheets and apps that relate to woodworking and home improvement. Here's one that is usually a $5 app, but is free today only.
Amazon free App of the Day
I've never used it, but it seems to have quite a bit of useful features.

Ummm how do you figure? From a SmartPhone standpoint Android has over 50% of the market. (Sorry all you Apple Fanboy's out there)

Check your credit cards. I ordered this yesterday, today it is showing as a pending $4.99 charge. On Amazon it shows as a $4.99 order.
I emailed Amazon and am confident they will straighten it out, but I don't know they will do it automatically.

As already pointed out, there are more Android phones in service than Apple phones.

My point was that "most" people (about 60%) don't own a smartphone, so they can't use it. That's all smart phones - using your 50% number, that would mean that only about 20% of people have Androids and could use this app - and 80% of the population (60% without smart phones + 20% non-android smart phones) cannot.

I don't have a cell phone, but I have an Android tablet. The app works just fine, but isn't all that useful to me.
That's what I like about Amazon's daily free apps. You can download, check it out, and delete all in a few minutes.
