Stanley combination plane made in England
#11
I've had this for a couple of years never really used it and now I'd like to try to sell it as I am thinning out some of my tools. The box says "18 blade combination plane" but I've never seen it anywhere not sure if this is exactly what it's supposed to be called. If anybody knows any information about this and I greatly appreciate it. AIso what it might be worth. I would like to post some pictures of this but I can't see anywhere to do that and someone help with that also?

Stanley #50 possibly but a picture will help.

There are picture posting instructions in one of the other forums: http://www.forums.woodnet.net/ubbthreads...oard=howto

You will need a hosting site account such as Photobucket or Flickr.

okay I admit it's been awhile since I've done this haven't had to for a while. I tried posting photos on Photobucket and had absolutely no luck keeps telling me I'm loaded with virus and wants me to spend money on virus removal program which I've been down that road before and it's never a good ending.. So what I have done is posted an ad on Craigslist 8with all the pictures of this plane I thought would be necessary. Please. take a look and tell me what you think.

It's pretty modern. There should be a model no on the box??

I'm pretty sure that's a Stanley no. 12-250 combination plane.

I just did another search on Google and it came up as a 12 - 250 combination plow rebate and beading plane. 6 of them sold last year on eBay for $149.00

okay if anyone is interested I would sell it for what I am starting it at 4 on eBay. Since you can't sell anything on this thread I will put it on the Swap & Sell.

Yes, I believe that is correct after zooming in a bit on the photo.

I have a 12-250 and it beats a #45 is two categories:
1. Use: It is easier to use
2. Appearance: It is waaaay uglier
