It is the cherry with which I constructed that world-famous EC. Probably will all be gone by Chattanooga trip, but am sitting on 6000 feet of 5/4 similar and 4000 feet of 5/4 ribbon, both of which are wider than the 4/4.
Please do not ignore the huge tiger stripe red oak I posted at 4.22 bones a foot.

Am going to take a pic of the barn board I have--full 1 inch x 10-12" x 20 feet with cathedral figure the full length. So dry, it sucked the saliva outen my mouth

I am curious, has anyone actually seen this famous EC? I mean he could have just used a picture off the net. More importantly, how do we know he even made it? I mean he spends his entire day jabbering on here. When would he ever have time to make something like that. I mean that is a nice piece of work. You have seen the pictures of him. I mean yellow shoes and orange oven mitts. He is obviously either color blind or lacks any kind of sense of style. I would think that if he were to make one out of cherry, it would be painted with some god awful color like yellow.

I've seen the EC. It's real, and it looks great.

Google tiger oak wood or some such and you'll get a bunch of hits.
