I've even heard from a reliable source that it has cabinet mounted trunnions....

...Hybrid format, cabinet mounted trunnions, steel fence, riving knife, granite top, Herculift, and 4" dust port is a definite buy at $600 if it doesn't have any glaring problems. That's really an amazing number of features at the price point. What else could you ask for?

Tool Weight = 452 pounds! Wow. I guess 1 1/2" of granite top will do that for you. Interesting looking saw.

I am wondering if you can move the fence over like on the contractor style saw. I sometimes use more than the 30" capacity that this one has. And I don't need 20" to the left of the blade.
It also says online only. Wonder when these will be in the stores.

Do you think this means it has a riving knife?

I think it about has to... I thought the new UL standards required anything new had to have one incorporated, existing models are good for a few years though.

That looks like it might be a two-part rail. Sliding the top part should not be a problem. If it's welded, moving the whole thing would work with a couple new holes drilled thru the fence rail.

I'm wondering if Orion is involved.

AFAIK, it does have a riving knife and TTI signed a licensing agreement with Steel City for the technology behind the top. The cabinet sure looks like the one on the 22114...

The fence looks like a T2 and Jet Proshop fence without the faces...any guesses why they'd omit the faces?
