Santa's workshop is done here at my house.
I made scroll saw angels for thank you gifts. Various scraps with Seal-a-cell finish
I made a bunch (10) of these clocks from Wood Magazine. I enlarged the pattern by 20% to fit 2" clocks. the are Leopard wood, birdseye and tiger maple, and walnut finished with Seal-a-cell and rattle can lacquer (semi-gloss).
I also made some more candle holders this year. I got the idea from a woodnetter last year. Thanks! They are birdeye maple and figured walnut finished with Seal-a-cell and wipe on varnish (Formby's).
I made extras of everything this year. Last year the wife asked for some to give to her relatives after they were all spoken for.

Anyone have issue 187 or Wood they'd like to sell?
I'm still plugging away at cutting boards. I can get away with them as it's only the second year of "Woodworking Christmas" for me.

Wow - you're way ahead of me! Congratulations. I'm hoping to get a lot done this weekend. Most of my shopping is done (that's my job - LOML gets to wrap everything! ), but I still need to finish up a few cutting boards and some other little trinkets.

Very nice! I especially like the grain (and figure) in the walnut(?) one on the top right - beautiful! I made a few sort of like this last year, and I'm still appreciating the one that stayed home...
Thanks for sharing, Andy

Imade several bread dipping boards, a few of which will find their ways under evergreens.

Those are nice Danw: Do you have a way to share the pattern for the angels? I really like the design.

Ralph, those bread dipping boards look nice. Clean design, well executed. I like the variance too -- they aren't just clones of each other in different material.

Thanks Rok,
I was working on a design study. Starting with a simple plan, adding elements one at a time to see what works and what does not.
Glad you like them.
