OH well, goodbye woodshop
      #4225699 - 03/22/09 03:18 PM

I hope you don’t mind if I rant a bit. This weekend I sold off some tools and basically closed down my woodshop. Due to hard times in the job markets, we have a daughter and her children moving in. Two of our other children have received lay-offs as well. To make room, I’m sacrificing the shop and will be converting it in to sleeping quarters. I was able to save some of the tools by buying a storage shed. In closing, I would just like to thank our elected officials for all of their tom-foolery. Sorry for the rant, but I feel better for it. I’m sure many across the country are having tough times, as well.

Damn shame!

Unfortunately, you story is not unique and is probably similarly repeated many thousands of times on different venues around our once great country.

That sucks big time. Hang tough, things will get better eventually.

I may end up with my Son, DIL and Grand Daughter living with me also.

While it's nice to have your family around, the reason for it sucks. Keep the faith, things will get better!

Rant on ! I too lost my work area in the basement for son and DIL but the garage is still mine, so far. This one looks like it might be a while before we see a turn around. I'm just grateful I can help them. There has been some tom-foolery from non-elected officals as well. Good luck !
