I have a dozen stacking up in my shop. Throw them out or keep them?

Toss em if they don't fit in the shelves.

I keep tools in the cases until I find or build a clean storage space (cabinet or drawer). Then they go into the storage area above my garage. I'm not one to hang on to things but occasionally have to take more than a couple of tools to another location and prefer transferring them in the cases. I also keep duplicate chargers and little used accessories in the cases, otherwise I'd never find them again.
I have 500+ sq/ft of storage space and the cases take up more space than anything else. Next is fishing gear and Christmas stuff.

I know some people like them if they're out on job sites, but to me, they're useless. Give them to Good Will or I just put them in the recycle trash can.

When I'm building in the shop, the cases get stacked in an unused corner. Strike that. They get piled in exactly the place where I always have to work next.
However, when I head to the stage floor, a Habitat house, or other place of exercize, the cases come in real handy. Therefore, I keep them.
-------------------- Sure I can move that. Would you like it $10,000 to the left or $10,000 to the right?

If they are metal and could store possibly some other tool, then send them to me

I have doubles of most tools. Job site tools stay in the cases on shelves. Shop tools, cases get tossed, unless its one that will hold job site goodies. Screws, hinges, etc.

I keep the tools in them.
The only ones that i keep out are my cordless drills and the router thats mounted in the router table.
I wish i had one for my Dewalt Biscuit joiner.

Well...2 years....not in the cellar? Oh and Rodgers is the first QB to have his first 2 years starting with 4,000+ passing seasons.
