Thinking of ways to get this into my basement shop.... Yikes. Don't think it can happen. So close too! I hope someone here snatches it up!

I'm trying to think of ways to get it to Cincinnati without spending an arm and a leg, then getting it my shop.
Same problems.
Although at the end of the day, I don't know what this jointer would do that my PM 60 would not.

It looks similar to my 12". The tables on mind come off easily and then the cutterhead pops right out. It is pretty manageable from there.

You are bad influences... This thing is keeping me up at night. I may have to take a ride out and see it this weekend... Anyone know an approximate weight of this thing?
Cheers,
CJ

we estimated that my 16" was about 1600 lbs, but i would guess this would be between 1000 and 1200 lbs.

Well, I just dropped off the cash. Gonna pick it up on Saturday. I'm starting a thread in Power Tools to solicit ideas to get it to the basement... Thanks for all the encouragement. Cheers, CJ

Congrats. You won't be sorry you bought it. Of course whoever buys your house whenever you sel may end up with an 8 inch jointer as part of the bargain

Congratulations. I bought something off that guy's early CL postings. I saw that jointer. Looked really sweet. I'm kind of glad that guy didn't list everything he had for sale at once, or I would've prob come home with a lot more stuff
