Not yet, that I've noticed. But now that you mention it, it will probably drive me crazy!

Thanks. For a couple of years my wife's uncle has been telling me he had a lathe he wanted to give me. I always assumed it was a working lathe. She went to visit, and come back with what you see in the first pic.

I've never turned nor rehabbed any old power tool. It became a labor of love, and I am now very glad I followed through.

Very nice job on your lathe, it turned out really nice. I can't wait to turn some wood myself.
