Only 107 today. new
      #5985841 - 07/09/12 06:18 PM

Tomorrow and Wednesday is forecast to be 111.

Ugly, but not as bad as some of you folks have had in the last week or so. Its a dry heat.

Temp dropped about 20 degrees here from last week. I got to open the shop doors today and turn off the a/c.

I can never understand when people complain about snow. Winter weather is so refreshing!

See ya later,

Well I'm just glad that it's hotter outside of TX for a change. Been way better than last year so far.
Last summer was brutal. Nearly 100 days at or above 100* with around 75 of those in a row. Add to that humidity yet no chance of rain and the fact that at 2am it was still in the 90s and it would hit 80-82 for a low just before the sun came up for all of 2 minutes...

I think it's time to move north. I can shovel snow I can't shovel the sun away. And heating is way cheaper than cooling.

Yeah the numbers you have include richter scale and property that is measured in sq inches vs acres.

We have AC.

100 days over 100 is normal here.

Wednesday, we are supposed to have thunder storms as well. We are supposed to put a finish on the two cabinets we finished today too. That might not work out well.

Still 106 at 9:00 PM and we hit 116 for our high. Humidity was 4% in the afternoon, now 10%. Its hot, but my lumber stays dry/stable and my hot rods and classic cars DO NOT rust!
