Just finished this up tonight. Based on the Norris 11 mitre plane and a 3part article in Furniture and cabinetmaking mag from the U.K.

Wow, nice work! What's the bed angle?
And more importantly, how well does it work?

Great looking plane. I'm very impressed with the metalworking. Have you made shavings yet?

Looks great - how she fly, esse? (edit: I just watched a video on Karl Holtey's little guy and that seems very useful).

Hi everyone, the bed angle and bevel angle were both 25 degrees as per Holtey's plan and bevel up. During final tuning took lots of nice shavings and left a polished finish to he workpiece. I think it works really well, hopefully it's new owner will think so too.

Beautiful Wayne.
As a "mitre plane" is this intended mainly for use on a shooting board?

Hi Jim, no it is intended to be a smoother rather than a shooting plane.
Wayne.
