+1 for Geocel. I used it when I installed my gutters and it's held up well. It's also self leveling so it doesn't create an obstruction in the gutter. The tube is the cheap way to go.

I just used a couple of tubes to seal the seams on a low pitch metal roof while I put it up. I've used it before and it seals perfectly.
I've tried two others and they weren't very good. Silicon corrodes metal and comes loose.
Titebond roof sealant. Grey and VERY sticky.
It works well as it is or better if you rub it in well with your finger first if the surface is not that clean, then seal it again with a thicker coating.
Clean up with mineral spirits easily before it cures.
