I'll bet some of us (without naming names) would be OK with 20 steaks for 5 people. Anyway, as I type this I'm planning on being there.
That`s why I was asking what time, if we get started early enough I may need several to fuel myself through this grueling event
Also are we toting in side dishes? or is this an all inclusive travel event? If we are bringing sides maybe we should mention what it is we are planning, so we don`t end up with 13 kinds of tater salad, not that I have anything against taters.
Drinks, is this a dry county? or are adult beverages going to be ok. Saying that, I like adult beverages on occasion, but if their being present cause any issues with anyone coming, then I`m good without them.
I was thinking maybe we start amassing at about 11:00 or so, and eat in the neighborhood of 12-12:30. That'll give a few hours to sit around and BS afterwards.
If anyone wants to bring a side dish, that's great. My daughter had volunteered to fix whatever we decide to have, so I'm sure she would appreciate any help. If you would like to bring something, it probably would be a good idea to let us know what it is. But it is certainly not necessary to bring anything. However, it might be a good idea to bring a lawn chair.
As far as adult beverages are concerned, it is perfectly fine with Twobye and me if you want to bring whatever you like. Fayette County is not dry, but there is only one place in Jeffersonville that has Sunday sales. So it's probably best to bring it with you.
My place is really easy to get to from about any direction you may be coming from. I'll try to do up a little map and post it. If you put my address in a GPS, it's probably going to take you to my neighbor's house about a 1/10 of a mile down the road. You ain't gonna have fun there though. And before you ask.....NO..She ain't hot. And she will probably have her binoculars out trying to see what is going on over here. If she gets a whiff of anything cooking, she's liable to graze across property lines, and just appear out of nowhere. If she does, I'll just get the cattle prod out, and shoo her back towards home.
