Shovel Man Member Registered: 01/03/06 Posts: 3149 Loc: Michigan Mahogany Desk Feels Like Plastic in Hot Weather       06/02/12 04:46 PM Edit   Reply   Quote   For a few moths I will be using a 50 year old Mahogany desk. It probably has poly on it. This is appropriate since it has proven that it can protect this beauty of a desk for so long. Still, when the weather is sticky the finish sticks to my forearms. Any suggestions for improving the feel, other than refinishing, which is not going to happen on a loaner desk. Post Extras
