Need Some Help with Festool Domino
      03/04/10 07:58 PM

I took the plunge and bought a Domino this week. I am very impressed so far, but I need help with the dust collection. I did not buy a Festool vac, I assumed that I could use one of my Rigid shop vacs or simply sweep up the shavings when I'm done like I have done with my biscuit jointer. After reading some of the info that came with the unit it sounds like I have to use a dust collector for the machine to work properly.

My question is how do I adapt my existing vacs to the Domino? I don't really want to spend another $500 for a new cleaner when I already have 2 plus a dust collection system. Also, does not using a vac of some sort really make a difference?

Thanks for the help,
Steve
