Five more machines made it in and got cleaned up. Terrible how Ive neglected the bandsaws the past few years. They are back to new now. Under the hood of the planer was a real mess too. Jointer needs blades. Lots and lots of cleaning the last 3 days.

Modified the dust collection port on my 5hp sawstop for 8". Wanted to preserve the dust shroud as well. Here are some pictures of how I did it.

mike- those bar clamps on the rack up a bit- i imagine you have a problem with them bending and breaking?
Big Grin
it would be interesting to know what they were once used to construct

Those are a JLT Panel rack. It is made to glue up panels. Not a DIY - Real deal.

You can glue up on any of the 5 levels. All reference the same plane.
The JLT pneumatic flatner references off the bottom of them and flattens with an air bag.

It is a Super sweet setup.

Its the baby to the James Lee Taylor (spelled out not JLT) glue up racks that look like ferris wheels and motor that tightens the clamps. First I saw that one was at an amish shop!

Lumber supplier 50m east of me has a JLT that has maybe 80 4-clamp stations on it.
Hit the switch and another station rolls to ya. Throw boards in, clamp, hit the switch....

Depending how busy they are making and selling panels, they may use a 55 gallon drum of glue in a week.

Thats the James Lee Taylor setup I mentioned. Crazy.

I have a JLT powered glue roller too. Its pretty crazy.
