Natural Gas Pex line? - Bill Bob - 07-27-2015

Plan to run natural gas line from outdoor black pipe to my outdoor pavilion and grill. Line would be buried and the run is about 300 feet and then connect to another black pipe at the grill area. Being that the gas is very low pressure and pex is rated for something like 200 Psi and other than not being in California where everything has been known to cause cancer do you think this will be a problem?
Regards,
Bill

You can get pex that is rated for gas.

You can also use the yellow plastic pipe underground and metal fittings above.

Use the yellow coated iron pipe rated for burial and make sure to properly seal up unions. Hardest part of the job is digging the hole
