Resiste Blades - Red Sawman - 10-12-2015

I did a search for "Resiste" planes and found nothing ... I got these at an auction Saturday ... there are 10 of them ... all identical.

Any idea where they came from?

That's what I would do if I were designing a plane with an adjustable double iron. That is, the screw moves the chipbreaker back-and-forth.

Over 90% sure they are European, probably French, but I don't speak the language. I think I've seen something like them over here in Germany at the Floh Markt near France.

Search for Goldenberg planes.

.... actually ... they were at the bottom of a large lot of Stanley parts ... I didn't even know they were there until I started going through the box at home ...

They are stamped "40" and are 40 mm wide (1-5/8") ...
