Driveway Stains - Keith L - 07-08-2016 while on vacation some Maple tree limbs came down on the driveway and the leaves left black stains. I have tried Krud Kutter siding cleaner and power washed. Not any good results. ANY SUGGESTIONS? Re: Driveway Stains - Foggy - 07-08-2016 Let me park my old truck on your drive for a couple days. You won't notice the maple stains. Re: Driveway Stains - jteneyck - 07-08-2016 I take it you are talking about a concrete driveway? And it's not sealed? You might try oxalic acid or deck brightener. Just a guess. John Re: Driveway Stains - Trusty Rusty - 07-08-2016 Try laundry soap. Just wet it down and pour some tide on it and let it sit. Next day scrub with a stiff broom or power wash. We used this in a shop where we worked on heavy equipment, worked great and cheap. Rusty Re: Driveway Stains - dlorenz - 07-08-2016 I get oak leaf stains on my concrete drive - the sun bleaches it out quite nicely. You might give it a try. Ed Re: Driveway Stains - Bob10 - 07-09-2016 Tide gets it done Re: Driveway Stains - woodgrain - 07-17-2016 Might be alge growth, try one of the bleach based or phosphate based cleaners.
