If you wanted it when you bought it you will probably still want t when available. I can understand being unhappy but not to the point you set yourself up for paying more later.

packaging was surprisingly lacking glad it wasn't treated poorly on the journey

The special systainer can't be in the middle of a stack top only I guess I wasn't paying attention until now

Really? I hadn't noticed that. Why, is the top molded differently? I would've thought a T-Loc is a t-loc.

Where did you order it from? The one I got from Tool Nut came very well padded.

And, I understand the frustration with the delays. Unfortunately, we have to wait for Festool to coordinate with their supply chain and produce more sanders. Then 4-6 weeks shipping from Germany to Festool USA, then they have to turn them around to us.
