WTB Delta shaper spindles and parts - Dave Diaman - 11-28-2016
Hey guys. I got a really good deal on a Delta 5hp shaper with a power feeder but all I got with it is a 1 ¼” spindle. Since the vast majority of my shaper cutters are ¾” bore this is a problem. I did a whole bunch of searching online and managed to find a ¾” spindle and bought it. The problem is the spindle doesn’t come with the nut, spacers or washers all of which have been discontinued. I would also like to try to find a router bit spindle that doesn’t cost $300. I have quite a few large diameter router bits that will be fine at 10k RPM that I would really like to not have to replace with shaper cutters if possible. The shaper I have is the 43-454 which has the longer 8 degree taper on the spindles. If anyone has any parts just send me a PM and let me know what you want for them.

Talk to Richard. He's an awesome resource for Delta parts - particularly for HD shapers.
