ID This Tool? - hankgillette - 12-01-2016 Can someone identify this tool? It looks like some sort of nail puller, but there are extra bars and such sticking out, so maybe it has some specialized use? This is another attempt to get the picture to display. Someone on the site where I first saw this suggested it my be used somehow for making chain. I have no idea. RE: ID This Tool? - hankgillette - 12-01-2016 Apparently, I have not figured out how to post pictures with the new software. Apologies, and I’ll try to post the picture when I figure it out. But I have no idea what that is. It may just bee that your source isn't approved RE: ID This Tool? - Bill_Houghton - 12-01-2016 I can't see it. I guess I don't have Eric's superpowers. RE: ID This Tool? - Jim Waldron - 12-01-2016 My shop made coffin smoother, 55* bed, double blade, ipe boxed sole and wedge. Will this be my first successful photo insertion? (It shows in preview, so I'm hopeful I've got it right this time.) I've been having the same problems with inserting and/or attaching photos. I still need to figure out the attachment procedure. I don't use photobucket or instagram, so attaching directly from my machine to my post would be much better for me. Still looking for coherent information about my error messages for attachments: "Please correct the following errors before continuing:

You need a direct link to a jpg. RE: ID This Tool? - AHill - 12-01-2016 (12-01-2016, 01:31 PM)hankgillette Wrote: Can someone identify this tool? It looks like some sort of nail puller, but there are extra bars and such sticking out, so maybe it has some specialized use? It looks like a tire split rim puller. Older cars used spit rims, as far back as the Model T. I'm sure some gearheads will know which brand. Just to be sure, I made a trivial change to my options and saved them again. So I'll try again to attach my jpg image (only ~250Kb, so size shouldn't be an issue). Same error: "Please correct the following errors before continuing: The file upload failed. Please choose a valid file and try again. Error details: There was a problem moving the uploaded file to its destination." My attachment function still needs help. Any other ideas? |
