Need a blade guard for Ridgid TS3650 table saw - austingrigg - 04-25-2017

I just purchased a Ridgid TS3650 that is in great shape, but it doesn’t have the blade guard and spreader support. I called Ridgid and they said they don’t make that part anymore. Does anyone know where I could purchase one or have one they would be willing to sell me?

FWIW, the drawing looks identical to the one I had on a Craftsman saw.
I think both brands were made by Emerson, for a while.

If you find one let us know I could use one.

Thanks rlnguy, I'll check that out. The ones for the Craftsman 113 look really similar.

Do you have the part numbers for the spreader support and the guard assembly? Have you checked Parts Warehouse?

https://www.partswarehouse.com/Ridgid-TS3650-10-254mm-Table-Saw-s/15886.htm -- Figure D, #1? and Figure I, #65?

Is there a Shark Guard that will fit your saw? It would be a huge upgrade from the stock blade guard. Call Lee to see what he recommends.

There are quite a few listings for Ridgid and Craftsman blade guards on ebay. Here are some examples.

Ereplacement parts does have one of the two lower bracket parts. Ebay often has the other bracket part. Ebay also often carries the full guards with all the mounting brackets and hardware.
Searching for Craftsman Blade guard and Ridgid blade guard yield the best results rather than a specific model number, but you have to be able to recognize what you need.
All manufacturers have quit selling and making anything to do with the older splitter models they used to have. All splitters, blade guards that used a stationary splitter and associated hardware is pretty much obsolete. From everyone. Ebay is your best source.

Lee -- If the OP decides to get a Shark Guard for his TS3650, does he still need to buy the spreader support for the Shark Guard to attach to?

RE: Need a blade guard for Ridgid TS3650 table saw - Stytooner - 04-26-2017

Yes. The Shark guard for those models mounts to the same hardware that the original guard mounted to. I have helped a few customers locate that hardware in the past, but the sources are drying up.
