Somebody out there wants to build this - Slav Jelesijevich - 05-10-2017

Helping a friend clean up and organize his collection of cool stuff in his warehouse. This was made in the 50's or 60's is my guess. Great project if you have a friend who is a metalhead.

I built one by scale of about 1/2 years ago.
The wheels took the longest. Some circus up north bought it.
The kids loved it as I towed them down the street behind the lawn tractor.

Didn't have a good camera back then.

Coolness prevails with that. But I'd never get anything else done.

I do not think that I ever saw one of them in the westerns.

I never knew that they made stagecoaches with windows to look at the hores' rumps or with the bench seat facing sideways.

Pretty fancy suspension under that thing too.

Too busy salvaging the real thing....... more exactly the Finnish versions of horse drawn carts and farm equipment and some early tractor drawn equipment........ and when we find a bit of surplus time and get some funding there is an 18th century windmill awaiting a very thorough rebuild.
Our previous project was to patch up a late 17th century grain storehouse. Wooden of cause. Now it is good for another century or three.

No need to build pseudo antiquities from scratch when real stuff is rotting away or being burned or sold for scraop all around.
