Reaching across for the ON/OFF switch for me.  Slow learner, so took twice before I realized that it was one more safety feature added when the switch was moved to the opposite end.  I step back and left hand the outboard so I don't do it on that either.

It's okay when they laugh at us when we do something dumb, foolish, or have some other "learning experience"

But don't ever even think about laughing at them when they have one. I learned that by experience.
