Affordable 3" submersible pump? - Robert Adams - 07-15-2017
Seems that the foot valve on my deep well jet pump has decided to take a dump. Went to water the other day and the pump had lost its prime... Reprimed it and it ran for a while then lost its prime again. So looks like its a gonner.
If i end up pulling the pipe out i would really prefer to replace with a submersible. However the issue its a 4" well. I can get 4" pumps all day long for well under $200. 3" pumps are quite pricey. Does anyone know of a source for cheap 3" pumps. Its only used for lawn irrigation so i dont need a reallly nice pump. If this were for household water i would be using a good name brand pump.
