Gillespie and Globe Mfg Chisels - sawnuts - 09-18-2017
I have one of each in my collection but don't know much about either.
The Globe mfg was made in Middletown CT and they were around in the last half of the 19th century.
The Gillespie is a total mystery to me.
Does anyone have any info regarding these chisels. Who made the Gillespie.
Are these good quality? I am in the process of sharpening so I have no experience with them yet. I'm looking for some handles.
