Dewalt 9" MBF RAS - tomsteve - 05-15-2018

dewalt MBF-242 serial# 257967 RAS up for sale . i believe it to be from 1958.
i took the time to get everything to function- the head slides freely,  tilts for bevels and pivots to rip freely. also moves freely for miters. motor appears to run pretty strong but i didnt go bonkers cutting a lot of wood but sure seems to be strong with the blade on it. the power cord entering the motor has some dry rot/crack.

beings how this thing is a beast- i think it weighs around 100lbs- im thinking local pick up is probably the best bet.

 i think $50 is a reasonable price.

Its a good price, light years ahead of any Craftsman saw.

That is a great price, and it would be a great stable mate for my GWI, also a 1958. Anywhere within 2 hours of northwest IN and i'm a buyer.

I would tell the buyer to toss the blade.  The image is a bit small but it does not look like a negative hook angle blade to me.

Some buyer will be happy.
Had the same saw.
Much better than any Emerson made Craftsman Ras.
Had the CM ones also.
