Garden work inspired an eggbeater handle 'fix' - C. in Indy - 06-12-2018 Yep, My favorite old eggbeater drill has a handle-compartment threaded cap that likes to come loose. Then I was in the yard, and saw this: [attachment=10952] Couple days later, I fitted my handle-cap with a few thicknesses of foam-sheeting that I had cut into little traced circles. It stays put now! Maybe there is a way to use the male end, set it inside the handle, and thread the cap to it? And allow just a slim brass ring to show? |
