this is called cold casting. We use equal parts resin and metal powders for the effect.

Now on the subject

I also do turnings like that on wood.  I mix brass or bronze or copper I make it into a putty with 15 minute Epoxy and then put it into the grooves or cracks and turn it when it is dry

Wondering about vacuum pumps and also the container he used for this process.  Recommendations???
