3m purple sand paper - Cooler - 03-01-2019

I just tried 3M's purple sandpaper.

I used 320 grit to smooth out some BIN-shellac based primer.  It cut very well.   When it loaded up with paint, I took it over to the  water faucet and ran warm water over it and brushed it with a nylon bristle (dish washing) brush.  All the paint washed away.  I waited for it to dry and used it again and again it cut well.

Basically you can use this sand paper until the paper rips, or if you get the hook and loop version until the fabric falls apart.  It is the best I've used.  (but expensive)

I've used it off and on for a year or so but I haven't noticed it being noticeably more durable than other sandpapers.

I prefer the purple over any other. It cuts faster and lasts longer. Have used it for years. Worth every cent.
