Finishing outdoor table - Mike L B - 07-16-2019
I'm building a Bonsai display table that will be kept outdoors.
I'm planning to put on a coat of System three epoxy followed by a 2 or 3 coats of their varnish.
The top is 15 inches wide and about 5 feet long.
Is the epoxy a good idea or should I just use the varnish?

An article in FWW several years ago concluded that epoxy sealer followed by Epifanes Marine varnish had the longest durability of the products they tested. I would do as you propose.
