What Bandsaw Blade - Mike 55 - 01-25-2020
Hi all,
I'm taking a course at our woodworker guild on bandsaw boxes. It's a lot of fun and I'm enjoying it. I would like to outfit my Jet bandsaw. I put the riser block on it. I have a 1/2" blade on it for re-sawing. Where do you buy your blades and what size and type? I see 3/16 and 1/4 inch regular, skip and hook? I used both in class since the heart was a tight curve so I used the 3/16. I need a bunch of practice.
Could I just get a 3/16?

I have made about 25-30 bandsaw boxes over the years.
I use 3/16 10 TPI. I use that size for all of the cuts.
