Vintage Stanley No. 6 plane, Type 8, (Reduced)SOLD - overland - 04-24-2020
Old No. 6 Stanley foreplane, Type 8. This one of the earlier ones, with a nice low knob that feels very good in the hand. It's in nice condition and would make a good user. The tote and knob are intact (there's a gouge in the knob you can see in the photos.) The japanning is about 50 percent. Ther'e's plenty of life left in the iron, though it needs honing. The sole is corrugated and in very good condition. $60 plus shipping
