LN router plane blade adapter- - mongo - 09-03-2020
Anyone ever use the LN router plane blade adapter? The one that lets you use the small baldes in the big router? Does it fall out? Work well etc?

Thank you I had heard somewhere someone complaining the small blade could fall out. Perhaps it was a user issue.

The holder has a flat machined on its corner that transfers force applied by brass thumb screw to blade. When thumb screw is loosened, the only thing holding the blade in is friction between the blade and holder. I suspect that the complaint was prompted by user not tightening the thumb screw sufficiently. You are fine if you remember to make sure the blade is fully inserted in the holder each time you loosen/tighten the thumb screw.
