Had oil when i was a kid...didn't want it again.   When we built, did not want all electric house and geo wasn't really an option back then...so propane it was.   Furnace, hot water, stove, and dryer....

It's briefly been hit on...but i would emphasize insurance.   Make sure everything is covered...for moving...for storing...for moving...   make sure it's for replacement value and covers theft, fire.....

I would suggest drilling small holes and use only brass hooks.  They will be bright at first, but age gracefully and won't turn to a pile of rust in a few years.

If you are chip carving, or really small objects, it's not uncommon to use your hand.   I would recommend one of those kevlar and steel gloves.

I don't worry so much about getting everything put away...just so i know where i left it. Wife doesn't appreciate me tracking sawdust (or anything else) into the house...   so i'm more careful there...
