Thread: Ideas for repurposing louvered med cabinet doors
Post: RE: Ideas for repurposing louvered med cabinet doo...
Yep, saw that kind of project before, too. Good idea, but about an era behind. We're doing a pretty good job of going paperless, so using these as holders would likely be a short term function. |

Post: Ideas for repurposing louvered med cabinet doors
I rescued a couple of these during our house remodel. They are approximately 1.5x2' in size, and appear to be sturdy construction Seems they could be repurposed to something new, rather than throwin... |

Thread: Using dowels rather than nails/screws/staples
Post: RE: Using dowels rather than nails/screws/staples
Lots to consider here! I'm relatively new to many concepts of woodworking, so I'll have to research some of the terminology. But from what you guys have said, I've decided need to look for other met... |

I considered making one from 1/8" oak panel. I guess I'd have to sand it flat if it sticks up. |

Thread: Old Craftsman Router Table Needs Insert Plate?
Post: RE: Old Craftsman Router Table Needs Insert Plate?
May have answered my own question. On a whim I tried the fit of the ring from my Skil, and it fit perfectly, even the table height. So I think I can just order new ones for that and I'll be set! |

Post: Old Craftsman Router Table Needs Insert Plate?
I just got this table from a friend. Don't know how old it is, but I'm sure it's better than my Skil table with fiberboard top. This one needs proper 3" insert plates, but I can't find a model numbe... |

Thread: Fixing warped oak panel
Post: RE: Fixing warped oak panel
A planer has been on my "wants" list for some time. But dang it, this should be a simple piece to make. Oh well, I may consider a different way to finish this project. Maybe a nice piece of Plexi g... |

I'm making a lid for a d&d (dungeons and dragons) player box. I bought the wood from my local big box store. I've been back to the store (and others) multiple times to see if they have any better wo... |

Post: Using dowels rather than nails/screws/staples
I've built a few projects using dowels to secure the wood together, rather than metal counterparts. Even though it's a little more work (cutting the dowels to length, and drilling the holes into the ... |

My measurements show a 5/8"W x 1/4"H squared slot, not a T-slot, that seems to be standard. |

I don't have a guage for my Ohio Forge table saw. I've been looking online for one. Most of them say "fits model xxxx". How universal are the guages as far as their fit in the slide groove?
And... |
