Do you only need 10" of rise? For something small and simple like that I'd probably just build one with treated lumber and decking boards. My advice is anything more than one inch of rise per foot ...

I had the 14.4 and the 18v nicad saws, neither performed very well so I rarely used them. The lower blade speed kinda chewed through rather than cut. The 20v brushless is not really in that same class...

I like A-pex because it's so much more flexible. You can still use A-pex with crimp and clinch rings or you have the option to use the expander tool and fittings. I bought the dewalt pex expander tool...
