i am making rolling pins right now and have made 4 different styles and sizes.  My largest one was 1 3/4 x 20 and the smallest was 1 5/8 x 18" It seems to me that a 3" is pretty big.

when I checked my order status, it had the price at $1795.00, not the $169.  Not really surprised.  The $169 must have been a typo in the website department

definitely move.  Just moved from boston to VA and moved the whole shop (except sold the drum sander).  Packing the shop no different than any other room.  And I had all my tools when we got there

been using a thin kerf forrester for years with no stiffener and have not had a problem.  Got it originally for my underpowered crapsmans. later, I got a 5 hp unisaw and did not change the blade.

Sad to hear. I connected with John about 20 yrs ago after seeing a picture of one of his grandfather clocks on line. I sent him a note about his clock and that began a wonderful on line relationship....

had the same issue. I had my air cleaner mounted directly to the floor joist because of head room. I used shock absorber bushings. Cheap easy and did the job

I just bought the kitchenaid 6 qt at Costco. Best price around and it has a $50 coupon if you purchase before xmas. Drawback is that they only have three colors.

I understand, but you may find that you dont need to silence the clock. I have 5 (yes 5) tall case clocks in my house. I find the chiming at night to be comforting rather than disruptive.
