Thread: Prior Posts don't show up in new forum
Post: Prior Posts don't show up in new forum
I have been member of Woodnet Forums since 2005, and when Woodnet made the switch over to this new format, none of my posts from the prior format came over. Has anyone had this problem?
Thanks

Post: What is it about the 4 1/2 smoother?

I don't consider the wood projects I build to be anything special, I just love working with wood and hand tools. As of late, I have been doing more meaningful projects for my wife and kids, and they ... |

Thread: No. 6 plane: What's it good for?
Post: RE: No. 6 plane: What's it good for?
I can't say enough about how useful my #6 is for flattening and joining. I find myself always reaching for this plane whenever I am truing up wood for projects. As mentioned, works great with a shoo... |

Thread: Sharpening without water
Post: RE: Sharpening without water
My shop is in a detached garage, which has no running water. I sharpen with water stones, and leave them soaking in a container, so they are always ready when I need them. |
