He got the wrong toilet. Those home center $100 complete toilet in a box are simply put, junk. Better toilets start with a better design. Very important is an oversized flapper valve, a 3-4" inch valv...

Definitely should never be vented to a soffit. Your soffit is an air intake vent so much of what is vented out is likely to get pulled back in. This is especially true when, like most of these install...
